Who We Are and What We Do
The Museum of Craft & Folk Art (MOCFA) is a private, nonprofit (501c3),
membership-driven museum. MOCFA provides innovative exhibitions and educational
programs that are designed to connect with and inspire diverse communities.
In 2004, the Folk Art in the Schools program was awarded a prestigious
National Endowment for the Arts grant, and American Express named the
Museum of Craft & Folk Art at Fort Mason Center as the museum to
visit when you come to San Francisco.
As the only folk art museum in Northern California, MOCFA is known for:
