During its twenty-five-year history, the Museum of Craft and Folk Art has produced more than 200 exhibitions highlighting contemporary craft and visual forms of expression by diverse cultures from all over the world. Its exhibitions have traveled to over 45 museums in 25 states, including an exhibition of contemporary Native American studio glass art that is currently on view at the Burke Museum in Seattle. The Museum offers public programs for every exhibition, and annually serves a diverse audience of over 40,000.  Volunteers, interns and staff contribute to the smooth operations of the museums. Volunteer

The museum welcomes volunteers to assist with collecting admission fees and providing visitors with information about the exhibitions as well as artists whose work is sold in the museum store. Helping hands are also needed to assist with events, provide office support and help with projects such as large mailings.

Volunteer inquiries should be addressed to the Office Manager by sending email to officemgr@mocfa.org or calling 415-227-4888.
