EDUCATION PROGRAM
History-Social Science, Visual Arts, Mathematics, and Science Content Standards

This is a list of the most identifiable and common connections to the Education Program’s workshops and State Content Standards. This is by no means a complete list. Most teachers find more than these connections to their classroom studies in the information the Education Program provides in the classroom workshops and the supplementary Preparation Packets. It is intended that teachers use this as a guide showing relevance to grade level studies for funding or other purposes.

While links are not listed to Language Arts Standards at this time, the Program’s Preparation Packets are filled with reading- and writing-based ideas to supplement the in-class workshops and standard curricula. In addition to these suggested ideas for extended study, folktales, stories, poems and songs are included in various Preparation Packets.
