Take a trip around the world each Wednesday!

Come with us on a different exciting “fieldtrip” each time, including a slide show, close-up sharing of real artifacts, and a hands-on activity.

Develop an appreciation for cultural traditions and hand-made objects from West Africa, Japan, India, China, Indonesia, North, Central, and South America.

About us

For 23 continuous years the Museum’s artists/educators have worked in schools, libraries, enrichment programs, community centers, and summer camps, and hosted exhibition tours, and Family Activity Days at the Museum.

Lauded for its integrated approach to cultural studies promoting understanding and diversity, the Museum’s outreach program is widely praised for keeping alive hands-on and active learning. The Program has been awarded a National Endowment for the Arts grant and the Exemplary Arts Program award and serves over 8,000 young people annually.
