Live Jewelry Demonstrations in December
The Museum of Craft and Folk Art will host a series of Live Jewelry Demonstrations in December, taking place on Thursday 12/4, 12/11, and 12/18, from 5:30-7:30pm and Saturday 12/20 from 12-5pm. Please join a select few of our Museum Store jewelry artists, including Valerie Hersey, Huib Petersen, Vanessa Gade, and Olivia Competente, as they demonstrate the skills and techniques associated with crafting hand-made personal ornamentation. In the spirit of celebrating creativity and good will this holiday season, the Museum Store will provide festive music, hot beverages, and tasty treats to our visitors as they learn the tricks of the jewelry trade from the esteemed designers.
Free. All ages welcome!
