From a new line of work based on split seed pods and leaves. Made of a creamy white clay, sanded buttery smooth and unglazed on the underside and coated with a shiny clear glaze on the inside. Perfect for a centerpiece on your coffee or dinner table, This platter could easily function very well for a dinner party.

Heather Knight studied Ceramics at UNC-Asheville, and recieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts  in 2006. After an artist's residency at Odyssey Center for Ceramic Art, she moved on to open  Element Clay Studio in the spring of 2007. She has taught classes for Odyssey and served as Ceramics Faculty at the Greenville County Museum of Art in South Carolina.

Heather is now pursuing her studio practice full time and is excited to have the opportunity to fulfill her life's dream. All of the work  is meticulously hand crafted by Heather  using  the finest materials available.  She takes pride in the production of each individual piece and believes that the hand made object is always special and unique.
